Where We Work

Mann Deshi Champions is headquartered in Mann Taluka, a drought prone region in Satara District of Maharashtra. It represents 104 villages and the town of Mhaswad with a total population of 225,634 within a total area of 1482.6 km.

Mann Taluka is in an area referred to as Mann Desh, which is spread across three districts – Satara, Sangli and Solapur. The program reaches children and youth in the 104 villages that comprise Mann Taluka, and other nearby villages as well.

How We Do It

The Mann Deshi Champions Program offers training in track, wrestling, swimming, badminton, field hockey, and prepares its participants for the competition through physical fitness regimens and personal development workshops.

The Program is offered at the Mann Deshi Champions Centre, and other centres such as the Sanas ground, the Nasik Government Sports School and the Balewadi Sports School.

Athletes have access to a state-of-the-art gym where they are provided strength and conditioning training. The Program also provides a nutritious diet for athletes.
